Fiberglass pole sectionsThe rod unscrews into short pieces that pack into a bag or car trunk. When threaded together, the joint holds straight and keeps the flag upright in a stiff wind.
Cut bottom studThe base of the pole sits directly in the bottom of the cup. The notched bottom lets dirt pass through so the rod does not bind inside the center sleeve.
Drainage in the cupRainwater runs out through holes molded into the bottom of the cup. Dirt and puddles do not stay behind to bury the ball after an overnight storm.
