Cut a hole in the lawn, sink the cup, and drop the pin in. We put the whole target in one box so a patch of grass acts like a green right away. The pole stays short enough for a tight yard and lifts out with the ball resting on the base.

Fiberglass pole sectionsThe shaft is solid fiberglass that takes being dropped on the grass when you putt out. The sections thread together by hand, so the whole pin packs down small when you want it out of the lawn.
Ball retriever baseThe base under the pole sits beneath the ball in the cup. Lift the stick by the grip and the ball comes up with it, so you skip bending down into the dirt after every putt.
Molded drain cupWe mold the cup in white ABS plastic with holes across the floor. Rain washes straight through into the soil beneath, keeping the bottom dry instead of holding a muddy puddle around the ferrule.
Swivel tube flagThe small flag is stitched to a hard plastic tube rather than tied off with strings. It spins freely around the top of the pole, turning with the breeze instead of wrapping itself tight around the fiberglass.
