Pattern on both facesWe sew two layers of nylon back to back. The stars and stripes show on both sides, so you see the proper face whether the cloth points toward the house or the fence.
Stitched edgesThe outer edge carries two rows of stitching. Wind pushes a small flag around the pin all afternoon, and the double seam keeps the corners from fraying out along the hem.
Hard insert insideA rigid plastic tube sits inside the hoist seam. It slides over the top of a yard rod and spins when the air catches the nylon, rather than bunching up on the fiberglass.
