Cutting a real cup into sod takes a sharp cylinder and some weight behind it. We paired our carbon steel turf digger with a modular flagstick set so you can sink a hole on a Saturday morning and drop a pin in right away.

Heat treated steel cylinderThe cutting shell uses carbon steel with a blackened finish to punch through sod and roots. Step down on the frame to drive the round blade straight into your turf without tearing up the edges.

Depth guide and pusherMarkings along the blade body show how far down you have cut into the dirt. Once the plug of soil is free, the internal pusher slides through the cylinder to knock the turf core loose.

Sectioned pin poleThe pole breaks down into several rigid sections that thread together without wobble. A baked exterior finish keeps the color clean against the lawn, and the whole stick pulls apart when you want it in the shed.

Double stitched flag clothThe flag is sewn from heavy nylon fabric that catches the wind without flapping itself apart at the seam. It mounts right to the top of the pole and stays put when the weather picks up.
