Put a real target on a short yard pin instead of guessing where the stick sits against the fence. We sew these small flags out of plain nylon and stitch a molded tube down the hoist side. It slides down the rod, rests on the stop, and spins when air moves across the turf.
Molded plastic tubeThe hard insert runs the full height of the hoist. It slides down over the top of the rod and lets the cloth spin around the pin rather than wrapping itself into a knot.
Stitched nylon weaveWe cut these from woven nylon cloth with double rows of stitching along the outer edges. The fabric stays light enough to lift when light air drifts through the yard.
Bold printed numbersA single digit sits across both faces of the cloth. You can tell which target you are putting toward from across the lawn or from the edge of the patio.
Fits short yard pinsThe opening down the center of the insert matches standard practice rods. Drop it over the tip of the pole, let it slide down to the shoulder, and put the pin in the cup.
