Full pin height reads right from the other side of the yard, but carrying a single long rod is awkward. We split this white fiberglass pole into five threaded sections. You can pull a segment out to shorten the pin, or take the whole stick apart so it rides flat in a trunk.

White fiberglass rodSolid fiberglass has enough give to handle an autumn wind without taking a permanent bend. The white finish stays visible against dark turf and overgrown fringe across the lawn.

Five threaded jointsEach section screws into the next with brass threads. You can drop out a middle piece to bring the flag down lower, or take all five apart when packing up.

Ball retrieval baseThe base sits under the ball inside the cup. Lift the pole by the grip and the ball comes up with it, so you skip bending down after every holed putt.

Top flag mountThe tip takes standard tube style flags. Slide your flag over the top section and set the fastener so the fabric spins freely as the breeze turns across your yard.
