When you cut two cups into the grass, you want to tell the near hole from the far one across the yard. We make these five-section metal poles with red flags marked for the first and second targets. They snap together on the green and come apart when you need the grass clear.
Spring buttons lock sectionsFive painted iron segments click together with spring buttons along the shaft. The joint holds straight when you plant the stick in the cup and lets you break the pole down into a bundle for storage.
Numbered red nylon flagsThe red cloth carries a white number to mark your targets across the yard. The nylon slips over the top section on a plastic tube, so the cloth turns freely when the afternoon wind comes across the fence.
Painted iron poleWe paint the metal tube in alternating bands of red and white down the full height. The iron gives the stick enough weight to stand plumb inside the cup instead of leaning into the lip of the hole.
Molded cup drains waterThe plastic cup sits below the turf line and takes the bottom tip of the pin. Three drain holes in the bottom floor let morning sprinkler water run out into the soil below instead of pooling around the ball.
